I never wrote Santa. Baphomet ugly Christmas sweater My daughter still wanted to believe, because the kids at school did., so she decided it was Santa who filled the stockings. Then one year she noticed I forgot to take price tags off some of the things in the stockings. I always answered direct questions honestly and sometimes with “what do you think”. She was probably 4 or 5 when she saw the price tag. Believing in Santa was one thing, but believing he bought webkinz on clearance at Meijer was another. She held it up and said “someone bought this!”

 I asked her who she thought Baphomet ugly Christmas sweater it was, and she knew it was me. I admitted it. And I asked her if she knew where her other presents came from. She went through her stash, and we listed off all the grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc who had mailed us presents to open Christmas morning with mom and dad gifts. She was very touched to realize how many people in her world loved her enough to send her such nice presents. She didn’t need Santa. She did however want to pretend for a few more years, and so we did until she announced she was done.
