I’d call “glorifying” it, and I certainly am not at Breaking Bad Bunsen and Beaker shirt all interested in pursuing Walt as my role model in life. When you are “glorifying” something that basically means you are putting it up on a pedestal, as an Aspirational Motivator. What that means, is you are making an example of something and making it “enticing” so that people will be motivated and inspired to do the same (for whatever reasons).
